K2s (the first start) heading for Straffan Wier.
The best (the safest) route down Staffan for K2's is beside the fish tanks.
The fish tanks are on the right as you look up-river.
Where you do not want to be in a K2. The water pushes you around.
Open Singles hitting Staffan. O/S paddlers have more options and can shoot the wier wherever they like.
The favoured place is in the centre of the weir.
A K2 limping along further down the course, the boat is sinking!
